POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources recruiter will coordinate and facilitate functions pertaining to the Monroe HR department for Glenmark's manufacturing site in Monroe, North Carolina. This position acts as a liaison between candidates and the company, and assists in onboarding activities. This position provides administrative support to the HR team as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, recruiting functions).

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Screening, relocations, experiences, manage the schedule/calendar
  • LinkedIn Recruiter, work w/ agencies, screen inbound applications, move candidates to the next steps to meet with Hiring Managers
  • Ready to take on responsibilities, eager to learn, fast-paced env't, open communication, super proactive
  • Recruiter Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the recruitment strategy and execution for multiple openings, from the initial research and planning phase, to sourcing and candidate identification, pre-screen, assessment, interview, offer, close and pre-boarding.
  • Consults with hiring managers on key position requirements and responsibilities, editing postings to include desired skills and experience.
  • Develops partnerships across various operational functional areas.
  • Leverages sourcing methodologies to identify and acquire specialized talent across with focus on diverse talent pipelines and strategies.
  • Assess all job seekers expressing interest in the posted position, select qualified candidates for pre-screening interviews, conduct phone screens and measure candidates against a specific job profile, and recommend job candidates to hiring managers.
  • Build rapport with internal and external candidates and deliver a positive applicant experience through proactive, authentic communication and efficient process management.
  • Successfully close and fill positions in a timely manner while adhering to all recruitment and hiring policies.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with hiring managers and leadership to influence recruiting strategies, ensure clarity in the recruitment process, eliminate barriers, drive efficiency, and push for results.
  • In addition, responsible for following and completing all of the process requirements including dispositioning candidates and ensuring compliance with all policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible to collect and store interview feedback and scorecards
  • Initiate, manage and communicate background and drug screen process and results
  • Participates in development of annual recruiting budget
  • Maintains employee referral program
  • Assist in internship, apprenticeship and immigration documentation requirements
  • Responsible for negotiating, acquiring signatures and uploading Direct Hire Placement and Master Service Agreement contracts to central storage
  • Acts as a liaison between Hiring Manager and Staffing Agencies
  • Administrator for ATS, specialty job posting sites and social media
  • Responsible to manage and update Applicant Tracking System functionalities (ATS)
  • Responsible to register, setup and attend Career Fairs
  • Responsible to post positions and other approved hiring news on approved social media websites
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for all interview levels
  • Assist with new hire and employee surveys
Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Experience:
  • 2-4 years of HR experience in a multi-national/multicultural environment required
Knowledge and Skill:
  • Basic knowledge of HR best practices regarding Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Learning and Development
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Good inter-personal skills and with a "hands on" approach
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
  • Resilient, pragmatic and hardworking
  • Approachable and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work with high stress and ambiguity
