Nurse Clinician - Staff Nurse - Evaluation Center - Per Diem

In this senior nursing role, the Nurse Clinician interviews patients, families and collateral informants to establish a working diagnoses and referral of patients to appropriate level of care at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Behavioral Center. Join us and help define the future of patient-focused care.

This per diem position will provides coverage of all shifts, including evenings, weekend and holiday's at our NYP Westchester Behavioral Health Center.

Preferred Criteria
  • Master Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Certification in area of specialization
Required Criteria
  • Minimum of 4 years of acute care RN experience, with at least two years of experience in Psychiatry
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • New York State Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated competence as a practitioner
  • Working knowledge of psychiatric illnesses, psychotropic medications, psychiatric assessment and evaluation
  • Successful completion of orientation & demonstrated commitment to continuing professional growth
