Job Title : Desktop Engineering
Location: Princeton, NJ
onsite with at least 3 days in office per week
Pay Rate: $40/hr - $45/hr
Duration : 17 W, 2 D
Responsibilities
• Responsible for automating desktop deployments, reduce deployment time and standardize images and Autopilot.
• Responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying configurations as part of a mobile device (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) supporting both corporate owned device and bring your own device services.
• Responsible for deploying and manage Microsoft Modern management technologies like autopilot, windows hello, Intune MDM
• Responsible for Creating Security Policy, Device Compliance, Troubleshooting modern Device Management (MDM) Issues
• Responsible for Maintain and enhance the MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment to support modern desktop management co-management with Intune.
• Good knowledge on Azure active directory and its integration with Intune/ End point manager
• Good knowledge on CMG (cloud mgmt. gateway), CMD cloud service and CMG connection point
• Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager deployment for CMG implementation
• Responsible for design, implementation, and experience of Microsoft Endpoint configuration Manager along with system center configuration Manager
• Responsible for building and maintaining desktop images, producing, and employing Group Policy Objects (administrative templates for Intune) to manage the environment.
• Responsible for deploying designing, deploying, managing, and configuring virtual and physical workstation environments using Windows 10, etc. using Zero Touch or Lite Touch or User Driven Installation capabilities.
• Responsible for desktop application deployment, including building packages to install Office or other LOB corporate applications.
• Good knowledge in scrips by using PowerShell to reduce the human efforts, cost and improving efficiency.
• Application Deployment for IOS devices - ownership and control groups.
• Managing Apple devices via Apple Business manager and MDM integration for enrolled devices
• Good knowledge on apple developer account administration (both enterprise and app store) for application packaging and distribution
• Managing developer accounts and distro certificates and for both IOS app store and Android play store. Renewing mobile provisioning profiles
• Packaging and deployment of applications for android devices using play store.
• Apple APN cert Management
• Role Based Access controls (RBAC) assignments for different Intune roles.
• Android for Work - configure and setup A4W device management.
• Managing exchange and office 365 connector
• Compiling Source code using X Code, reassigning IPA using Iresign tool and testing compiled IPA via Company Intune portal
• Mobile threat and detection (MTD) administration and integration for mobile security
• Conditional access mgmt. and deployment
• Work with OEM vendors for auto pilot registration and zero touch deployment.
• Knowledge on reporting using end point analytics and power BI.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Deskside Engineering, Modern desktop and Mobile Management or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, and managing Windows and Mac devices.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Deep understanding & experience in Windows OS imaging, troubleshooting and management.
• Any hardware or Microsoft Certifications would be a plus.
• Experience in Intune, Apple Business Manager and understanding of IAM and PAM tools.
• Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
