Pay: $28.23 per hour
1st Shift Hours: 6:42 AM - 3:12 PM, Monday - Friday
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a CMM Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with other precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Set up, program, and operate CMM equipment to perform detailed inspections of machined parts and assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM and other precision measuring instruments.
- Generate inspection reports and document findings accurately.
- Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
