Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Chicago, IL:

Job Duties: Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features to deliver scalable and high-performance cloud computing platform. Code for both front-end and back-end development for Salesforce’s cloud computing CRM platforms. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high-quality software. Build innovative user interfaces, platforms to allow application development in the cloud, and infrastructure to support storage and processing of data. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves salesforce. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) Linux File System; (4) CSS; (5) Cloud Computing; (6) CI/CD; (7) Maven; (8) Springboot; and (9) React. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
