Information Technology Coordinator

Job Description

Manages, evaluates and maintains information system technologies, including networks, security and controls, training and supporting end-users, researching and implementing new technologies, establishing "best practices," and maximizing return on technology investments.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in computer science, information management, or a related field.

2. Three to five plus years professional experience in managing and supporting internal networks, hardware and software.

3. Knowledge of servers, switches, firewalls and operation systems, desktop hardware and software.

4. Knowledge of VMware ESXi Server Environment.

5. Experience supporting end users’ IT service requests .

6. CPR, AED, First Aid Certified and Y University within 90 days of employment.

Essential Functions

1. Manages and oversees all aspects of information systems across 4 branches .

2. Develops and manages system security, back up processes , disaster recovery, and PCI Compliance .

3. Manage resources on Microsoft 365, including email, security, OneDrive and SharePoint sites.

4. Develops and implements IT policies and procedures to ensure data privacy and security.

5. Collaborates with department managers to identify and implement technology solutions to support their goals and objectives.

6. Evaluates issues pertaining to information systems for strategic planning and innovation.

7. Analyze the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.

8. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and applications in a domain environment.

9. Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations

10. Manages technology inventory and facilitates hardware and software lifecycle management.

11. Promptly respond to all “system down” calls during work and non-work hours.

12. Able to respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.

13. Develops and monitors budgets related to information technology. Monitors the costs involved in maintaining and improving information systems, including equipment and software. Evaluates and recommends technology purchases based on the YMCA’s needs.

14. Assists in annual special events as necessary.

15. Acts as a positive role model while implementing YMCA character development and following the four core values of Caring, Honesty, Responsibility and Respect.

16. Understands supports and is committed to the YMCA’s cause and our role in the community as a leader in Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

17. Oversees vendor contracts as it relates to IT.

18. Works with outside IT Consultant as necessary.

19. Other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.
