The Company is seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a candidate who can bring the right balance of product knowledge, communication skills and sales aptitude to a complex value proposition. You are expected to deliver a high-quality demo of the Commcise platform to prospects and craft the narrative that engages and connects the Commcise mission with the solution and the prospect's pain points.

Key Accountabilities

  • Communicate and articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and external clients.
  • Interact with external stakeholders at all levels including C-level contacts.
  • Self-generate leads, qualify, and close, often complex deals of 6 figures or more.
  • Nurture and qualify both inbound / outbound leads to be guided through the sales funnel with technical expertise and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with and support senior sales and product specialists to advance prospects from qualification to closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understanding their pain points and objectives to tailor solutions that meet their needs.
  • Structure and conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our software, effectively communicating their benefits and addressing the specific needs of the client.
  • Learn the Commcise software platform and the investment management research requirements from mentoring and training resources.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Essential:
  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS inside sales experience.
  • Track record of building a sales pipeline and strong prospecting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical individuals and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and external clients.
  • Experience describing and demonstrating the structure, characteristics, and behavior of software.
  • Confidence and/or experience interacting with external stakeholders at all levels including C-level contacts.
  • Demonstrable experience in self-generated leads, qualifying, and closing, often on complex deals of 6 figures or more.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to exhibit productivity in an independent setting.
  • Resourceful, well organized and disciplined.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment partnering to close deals.
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Desirable:
  • Comfortable using sales tools such as CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot), LinkedIn, Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, and Slack.
  • Sales experience in the financial services sector, with expertise in banking, asset management, or financial markets infrastructure.
