The Company is seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a candidate who can bring the right balance of product knowledge, communication skills and sales aptitude to a complex value proposition. You are expected to deliver a high-quality demo of the Commcise platform to prospects and craft the narrative that engages and connects the Commcise mission with the solution and the prospect's pain points.
Key Accountabilities
- Communicate and articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and external clients.
- Interact with external stakeholders at all levels including C-level contacts.
- Self-generate leads, qualify, and close, often complex deals of 6 figures or more.
- Nurture and qualify both inbound / outbound leads to be guided through the sales funnel with technical expertise and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with and support senior sales and product specialists to advance prospects from qualification to closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understanding their pain points and objectives to tailor solutions that meet their needs.
- Structure and conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our software, effectively communicating their benefits and addressing the specific needs of the client.
- Learn the Commcise software platform and the investment management research requirements from mentoring and training resources.
Essential:
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS inside sales experience.
- Track record of building a sales pipeline and strong prospecting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical individuals and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and external clients.
- Experience describing and demonstrating the structure, characteristics, and behavior of software.
- Confidence and/or experience interacting with external stakeholders at all levels including C-level contacts.
- Demonstrable experience in self-generated leads, qualifying, and closing, often on complex deals of 6 figures or more.
- Self-motivated with an ability to exhibit productivity in an independent setting.
- Resourceful, well organized and disciplined.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a team environment partnering to close deals.
- Bachelor or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Comfortable using sales tools such as CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot), LinkedIn, Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, and Slack.
- Sales experience in the financial services sector, with expertise in banking, asset management, or financial markets infrastructure.
