Purchasing Assistant

Adecco is currently looking to hire a Purchasing Assistant for their client in City of Industry.  This is a 10 week temporary position.  Pay range is from $26-$28.00/hr. DOE.  Hours are from 8:30am-5:30pm.

Purchasing Assistant is responsible for overseeing open orders, supporting inventory management and risk management.

Specific Job Functions:

Monitoring all the open orders

Aligning with the regular usage/promotions/and actual quantity on hand

Identifying the potential risk and shortage on time for the buyers

International buying

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

3+ years of previous procurement experience is preferred

Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies in this position: Detail oriented, Negotiation skills, Initiative, Organized, Oral and written communication skill, Decision making skill, Interpersonal skill, Time management.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
