Job Description
As a Junior Salesforce Software Engineer, you will assist the Manager of Application Development in developing and integrating Salesforce technology and process solutions that result in quality systems and services that meet the needs of WorldStrides.

The successful candidate will design, code, test, and implement technical enhancements and solutions. You will be responsible for documenting and implementing technical specifications, providing a level of effort work estimates, and identifying dependencies as necessary. You will bring with you the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables that are focused on user centric designs while also maintaining the applications ability to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high quality software products in an Agile environment.
  • Plans, designs and develops, tests and debugs new software and existing software systems and applications.
  • Designs applications according to specifications from senior design associates, business analyst and/or business leaders.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, technical staff and leadership on multi-complex projects to recommend and define new products solutions.
  • Utilize best practices to drive projects through full development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Produce pragmatic technical solutions capable of handling higher transactional and data volumes.
  • Actively collaborate and share knowledge and responsibility with other team members and teams.
  • Good understanding of best practices of coding standards
  • Responsible for conducting Business Process Review, designing and architecting the overall technical solution, hands-on development, coordination with offshore team, supporting the user training, UAT and deployment.
  • Ability to understand an existing architecture and deliver technical specifications on what the clients need while adhering to overall product architecture & organization standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com platform and data model
  • Minimum of 3 years of CRM capabilities with Salesforce application and of development experience to support business processes (Lead Management, Opportunity Management and Case Management)
  • Extensive experience in administering Salesforce Platform including Flows, Single Sign-on, user management, data model and Security.
  • Experience with CICD process using GIT, Jenkins etc. for release management.
  • Experience with Custom Objects, Page Layouts, Flows, Process Builder, Record Types
  • Hands on experience on APEX, SOQL, SOSL Working knowledge on LWC (Lightning Web Components), Events, Component Life Cycle, Using Public Properties, Wire methods.
  • Implementation experience on LWC is mandatory.
  • Experience with Service Oriented Design Principals (SOA), Web Services (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), core web technologies (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript).
  • Implementation experience of Enterprise design pattern
  • Expert knowledge in Visual Studio Code, Authorize Dev Hub, Creating Scratch Orgs
  • Well experienced in Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Test Classes
  • Expert in Security Model of Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura Components, JavaScript, jQuery, Sales and Service Cloud, Git and Git Hub.
  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Strong integration experience: ETL tools, various integration endpoints (BI, Data warehouse, ERP, CRM)
  • Ability to integrate with external systems and Data Migration.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Salesforce Admin and Developer certification (PD1 & PD2 required for Senior)
