Regional Sales Manager, Nor-Cal/Pacific NW

Position Summary

Hatcheri Foods is looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for promotions, sales and servicing our products for two of our brands, Sukhi's Gourmet Indian Food and Snapdragon, with grocery accounts within Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. This individual will develop new business and expand existing business. This individual will be responsible for managing broker/distributor within the region. Must have sales experience in the food business, working with retail grocery accounts, distributors and brokers. This individual lives in Northern California, in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Manages retail accounts in the Northern California and the Pacific Northwest build new business, expand and develop existing business and building relationships with our customers
  • Makes sales calls and presents promotions, prices and product information to customers
  • Makes sales calls and presentations to Key Accounts within Region on a regular basis.
  • Manages brokers and distributors in Nor-Cal
  • Manage and coach Account Representative in California

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 4-5 year's sales experience and experience managing and working with brokers and distributors in the food business and calling on retail grocery accounts
  • Must have sales experience in the food business, working with retail grocery accounts and managing distributors and brokers.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the CPG food industry, industry knowledge and its inner workings, consumer, and competitive trends.
  • Live within the region.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional presentation skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen
