Job Summary: The Patient Care Technician performs duties related to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms during patient transports, collecting diagnostic data, and assisting nursing personnel in providing patient care in their assigned area.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- On-the-job training provided
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course is preferred
- Previous experience in the medical field is preferred
- Minimum age requirement: 16 years
Work Schedule:
- Day/Evening Shift; 72hrs/2wks
- 8-hour day/evening shifts with every 6th weekend/holiday rotation
Pay: The hourly range for this position is between $17.50 and $23.00, with the actual rate dependent on experience.
