You'll be a key member of the DevOps team, supporting the R&D, Engineering and Software Development teams at Hologic. Reporting to the Senior Manager, DevOps, you will work closely with the rest of the engineering and DevOps team to design, build, and run our DevOps processes and infrastructure in Azure. This is a hands-on operations role with the opportunity to develop new skills with leading edge technologies as we build out our practice and scale our business. You should demonstrate a leadership mindset, solid Azure operational experience, and the ability to problem-solve. Ultimately, a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer should have exceptional communication skills, be knowledgeable about the latest industry trends, and highly innovative.

What To Expect:

  • As a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible to engineer a range of Infrastructure Services encompassing Azure Subscriptions, catering to delivery project requirements across customer and internal, Line of Business applications, and organization role readiness.

  • Lead and continuously improve, enhance, and adopt/build newer features/services/practices into the portfolio/catalog of services

  • Drive continuous automation to supported portfolio of services

  • Implement and adhere to recommended engineering practices in building high quality solution

  • Run the portfolio of services in adherence to information security guidelines and practices

  • Keep a good balance between tactical and strategic work, ensuring necessary maintenance/operational activities for the supported services

  • Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure solutions through envisioning, technical design, development, and implementation

  • Actively collaborate with Stakeholders and Internal Business units to understand the requirements and deliver efficiently

  • Consistently adhering to SLAs and ensuring high Service Availability

  • Deliver Features & Capabilities required by business, on time with expected quality

  • Ensure value proposition and business impact for every product/project/service is documented and measurable

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the domains on the supported services, enabling governance processes and dashboards

  • Ensure proactive customer/user communication, interaction, and resolution

  • Be proactive in advisory guidance, facilitation or evangelization on DevOps services or its adoption as well actively contribute to enabling project delivery teams on DevOps practices, tools, or techniques

  • Drive customer satisfaction and experience by ensuring customer feedback is captured and remediate 100% of the constructive feedback

  • Must be able to adjust to constant business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving priorities, and emerging practices.

  • Responsible for self-development on latest trends/developments in the related role/work profile according to professional development plan.

  • Actively contribute to org-wide strategies, in defining and implementing those along with contributing to team's roadmap and portfolio of services in alignment to the wider organization

What We Expect:

  • This role will sit onsite in Marlborough, MA.

  • Strong knowledge and technical experience with public and hybrid cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure

  • Hands on experiences on Log Analytics

  • Hands on networking experience to include virtual network peering, private endpoints, and managed private endpoints

  • Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring

  • Ability to understand and analyze issues independently and use judgment to make decisions to run services optimally and/or restore services quickly in the event of a failure

  • Ability to engineer and/or develop technical specifications, diagrams and infrastructure blueprint

  • Experience in effective global communication skills, impact, and influence across a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Excellent programming and Scripting capabilities (Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell/Java/PowerShell/Azure CLI) and automation skills.

  • Tools: Docker, MySQL, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Azure ARM, Bicep, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins

  • Experience:

  • Terraform: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Docker: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Azure: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

The annualized base salary range for this role is $107,600 to $168,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
