Position Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer witha strong background in Azure Cloud Infrastructure MicrosoftIntelligent Data Platform (ADLS Azure Synapse) and Azure MachineLearning (AzureML) to join our Data Science & AI team.
  • This role is critical to our mission of usingAI to achieve improved safety sustainability andresponsibility.
  • The ideal candidate will beresponsible for designing implementing and maintaining our entireAI/ML environment within Azure including the machine learningoperations infrastructure.
  • Youll ensureefficient model development deployment and monitoring processesworking closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to guaranteea smooth transition from development to production.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Asan Azure Cloud Engineer on our Data Science & AI team you willplay a critical role in designing implementing and maintaining ourAI/ML environment within Azure.
  • Youllcollaborate closely with Data Scientists Hybrid Cloud and DevOpsengineers to ensure a seamless transition of ML models fromdevelopment to production.
  • Heres a breakdownof your key responsibilities:
  • Azure CloudManagement:
  • Manage and maintain the MicrosoftAzure cloud infrastructure services and solutions relevant to AI/MLoperations.
  • Use Microsoft Infrastructure asCode (IaC) and Terraform pipelines for deploying Azureresources.
  • Monitor Azure Cloud resourcesincluding Azure AI services AzureML environments and modelperformance optimizing resource use and addressing issues tomaintain high service reliability.
  • MachineLearning Operations (MLOps):
  • Design implementand manage endtoend ML pipelines within AzureML for data processingmodel training validation and deployment.
  • Utilize AzureML for efficient scaling of ML modelsapplying best practices in version control CI/CD (using AzureDevOps tools) and lifecycle management.
  • Collaboration and Integration:
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists ML Engineers HybridCloud and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI/MLmodels into production focusing on scalability andreliability.

Additional Skills:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements inAzure AI/ML features and best practices to leverage cloudbasedAI/ML technologies effectively.

Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role you will ideallypossess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or a related field demonstrating a comprehensiveunderstanding of both theoretical and applied aspects of cloudengineering/infrastructure.
  • Proven (3 years)experience in Azure Cloud engineering with a strong focus onAzureML including managing ML workflows.
  • Expertise in Python for AI/ML workflows proficient withadditional scripting languages (e.g. Bash PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD practices andAzure AI/ML services.
  • Strong foundation inAI/ML principles with practical experience in deploying models atscale.
  • Proven track record of successful AI/MLmodel deployments in Azure.
  • Azure DP100Certification preferred.
