Business Development Manager-Demountable/Prefabricated Solutions

Location: Contiguous US (Should be living within a commutable distance from a major airport). This is a remote position required up to 50% travel

If so, you may be a good candidate for ASSA ABLOY's Business Development Manager of Demountable Solutions.

In this role you can picture yourself as a vital partner with Door Security field sales offices to implement demand generation activities with end users, architects, and channel partners. Manager, Business Development for Demountable Solutions will be responsible for growing the ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions' business and achieving sales and profitability targets throughout the United States.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Increase ASSA ABLOY brand market presence by collaborating with local Door Security Sales teams to identify and actively call on channel partners, including demountable manufacturers, dealers, architects, end-users, and wholesalers in order to increase sales.
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives within the demountable/pre-fabricated market.

What you will be doing:

  • You will actively call on, educate, provide sales support, and build ASSA ABLOY's business relationship with the targeted communities.
  • Discover, develop, manage, and grow sales of ASSA ABLOY's solutions.
  • Record all sales and channel activities in ASSA ABLOY's CRM tools as required.

What we are looking for:

  • You are a self-motivated, well-organized individual with a passion for teamwork and collaboration, as well as developing and closing projects across all vertical market applications.
  • You're a strong communicator, a confident technology and sales presenter, an active listener, and a solutions negotiator.
  • You can read and comprehend architectural drawings.
  • You have the ability to travel upon request (minimum of 50% travel) and are able to effectively perform your responsibilities in a home office environment.
  • You must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for in-person sale presentations.

Education and/or experience:

  • High school diploma required, BA/BS highly preferred.
  • You have extensive experience in the entrance/hardware industry and are known for your professional follow-up habits - driven to satisfy the client's needs to deliver at and above expectations.
  • A minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant industry experience required.

Position includes a base salary, benefits, annual bonus potential, and company car.
