The Order Administrator, 3rd Shift, is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of orders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to completing tasks promptly. The Order Administrator, 3rd Shift, provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers and demonstrates strict confidentiality with all team members while serving as an ambassador of our culture.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of shipment documentation.
- Prepares bills of lading and verify items against work orders for correctness in quantity, destination, and routing.
- Investigates undelivered items, makes necessary adjustments, physically locates items, labels them, and ensures timely delivery.
- Runs final checks to ensure all items are loaded onto trucks as required.
- Traces lost shipments and assists with customer claims, initiating proof of delivery documentation.
- Maintains shipping records and prepares routine reports.
- Acts as backup to the Order Fulfillment Coordinator as required.
- Demonstrates company core values and best practices.
- Exemplifies dedication to customer satisfaction with superior experience.
- Fosters continuous improvement and innovation.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives.
- Adheres to all Company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Experience using a Warehouse Software system (TWL or CSD preferred).
- Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess mathematical aptitude.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to communicate in English regarding the essential functions of the position.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have of 1 year experience in an Administrative role.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 25 lbs.
- Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures and elements, noise, and fumes.
