The Clinical Rheumatology Team Lead is responsible for scientific leadership in the Gastroenterology Drug Discovery Unit, focusing on the discovery and development of novel drug candidates for the treatment of chronic inflammation diseases. The role involves leading in vivo and in vitro studies, managing a team of research scientists, overseeing scientific projects, and presenting data to cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a scientific discipline, extensive industry and managerial experience, expertise in disease-related biology and inflammation pathology, and excellent oral and written communication skills. This position is based in Cambridge, MA, with approximately 5-10% international travel required.
