Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advanced technical expertise and analytical experience, with proven record of results. (internal or external to AD)
  • Ensures the integrity of all Network Optimization and Analytics initiatives/projects provided to Ahold Delhaize and provides leadership and guidance to other analysts.
  • Provides advanced analytical expertise to all Network Optimization Analysts and develops all required analytical tools, processes and educational programs.
  • Collaborates in the discovery of supply chain opportunities throughout a combined Ahold Delhaize network.
  • Aligns team on all supply chain concepts, best practices, industry standards and preeminent analytical methodologies.
  • Provides advanced expertise for network design initiatives, accuracy and scope of projects, the development of appropriate tool sets, and training for other analysts.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the leadership team in the implementation of a selling organization culture with a consumer-centric focus through Supply Chain (SC) responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to guide, provide expertise, and recommend solutions that highlight cost and other holistic impacts and trade-offs to the Ahold Delhaize Supply Chain.
  • Develops channel recommendations for all AD network physical flow paths.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners (Suppliers, Distribution, Transportation, Category, Logistics, Retail) to design and implement strategies and tactics to reduce total landed cost, while developing a more consumer driven network.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and recommend cross-functional supply chain solutions that align Ahold Delhaize Supply Chain strategy with individual business objectives.
  • Effectively work with cross-functional teams across multiple operating companies toward common Supply Chain strategies to increase profitability by reducing net landed cost.
  • Spearheads the development of alternate product channels utilizing sound research and design methodology as well as the development and implementation of programs to improve operating processes.
  • Facilitates continuous improvement conversations at all levels throughout the organization and meet with impacted departments concerning goals, priorities and technical concerns.
  • Acts as an internal company expert on industry supply chain activities, changes, and trends.
  • Provide support for motivating peers and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.
  • Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture
  • Serve as a member of key teams and committees as needed
