Clinical Advancement Program Nurse

A full-time Registered Nurse position is available at UNM Hospitals. As a participant in the Clinical Advancement Program, you will earn increasing compensation as you work towards one of five CAP levels. You may earn up to $8.00 in addition to base pay. Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement are available

Position Summary:

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
  • Provide clinical leadership for other staff and assume relief charge duties when designated
  • Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care
  • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures
  • Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric age groups

Qualifications:

  • Program Graduate (Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred)
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • No minimum experience required
  • NM RN license or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Providr or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification w/in 6 months
  • Basic Arrhythmia Cert w/in 1 year
