Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Imaging Analysis Intern, supporting the Space Division at the Kennedy Space Center, FL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program leading to a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a closely related field.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Knowledge of computers, optics, and imaging systems.
- Must have organizational and technical writing skills
- Experience with camera operations and hand/power tools would be a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Experience with computer software, photography, imaging, tracking systems, and analysis software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lab support and maintenance assistance with organization, safety, and health
- Configure consoles to support image recording and analysis
- Download, install, and verify operation of software upgrades
- Assist with inclimate weather preparations, test set-up for photogrammetry analysis, camera evaluations, and imagery analysis. Assist with equipment set up and tear down for field work and camera testing
- Evaluation condition and usability of surplus equipment to determine if excessing is appropriate
- Reviewing and categorizing images and recordings of Artemis and EGS imagery
