The Assistant Account Executive is a full-time role based in our Boston office. This person acts as a primary core program driver on his/her accounts. Primary areas of focus include speaking opportunities, awards, social media and media relations.

Working with your account teams, you will be responsible for monitoring industry events and the competitive landscape to flag new opportunities for your clients. You will also own various program tasks to ensure that awareness programs and deadline-sensitive activities remain on track. You will perform other duties as necessary.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Media relations (editorial calendar management and pitching, news and thought leadership outreach, cultivation of contacts in local and trade publications)
  • Industry monitoring and news scanning (flag relevant news and identify new media, analyst and influencer contacts)
  • Speaking and awards program management (calendar updates, deadline management, abstract submission and follow up)
  • Account team administration (agendas, actions, program measurement, activity reports)
