Inventory Coordinator
$29.00 - $35.00/hr - paid weekly
18 month contract
Hybrid

We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator who can manage the periodic and daily segmentation for our business units out of our centralized warehouse. The Inventory Coordinator will regularly segment inventory systematically to adhere to the business priorities and proactively address potential gaps needed to accommodate our segmented markets. They will need to work cross functionally with the entire VCO team to gather information, provide feedback, and maintain a high level of performance to meet the business needs.

What are we looking for?
  • Ideal candidate has experience in supply chain, including experience with inventory management in a fast-moving consumer goods industry
  • Excellent time management skills driven by a proactive work ethic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Logistics and Customer Care
  • A team player, willing and ready to work with and learn from peers and associates at all levels of the organization
  • High learning agility and technical confidence to utilize multiple PC data and planning systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Level.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Manage segmentation for the following markets: Affiliates, Mexico, Canada, ASC distribution centers
  • Review and complete daily inventory distribution through our order management system
  • Periodically update planning/segmentation templates
  • Maintain daily planning tools and monitor warehouse inventory
  • Work closely with the supply planning teams to address production gaps and provide estimated recovery dates
  • Assist with the transfer of finished goods between warehouses, or inventory rebalance as needed, to avoid shortages
  • Ensure process adherence and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
  • Operate in alignment with our Pets First, People Always approach to business


Ensure product is available at the right time for markets. This role will work with Export markets to ensure correct signals and systems updated to make sure supply is available.
