Our client in the technology industry is seeking an Assembler to join their team. Pay Rate- 17.00 hr. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Must be able to read and interpret Work instructions and Routing documents. • Perform complex parts assembly operations using various tooling, fixtures and hand tools. • Must have experience in mechanical assembly. • Ensuring parts conform to Drawing Specifications. • Must adhere to all the company’s safety requirements. • Able to work overtime as needed including weekends. QUALIFICATIONS: Skills • Minimum 2 years Assembly experience in a Manufacturing environment. • Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English. • Must be able to meet documented workmanship standards and pass company sponsored training and certification programs • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Education: High School or GED/Equivalent Years of experience: 2-year minimum OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES OR QUALIFICATIONS (not required): • Six Sigma, 5S and Lean experience a plus Required Skills Use of hand tools. Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day. Able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs. Ability to read and interpret Work instructions and Routing documents. Required Education High School diploma or GED/Equivalent. Required Years of Experience 1-2 preferred. Desired Skills Soldering experience a plus but not required. Desired Education Associates degree a plus. Desired Years of Experience 1- 2 years Additional Information Shift starts at 6:00am daily. May be required to work overtime up to 10 hours per day.
