LOCUM POSITION DETAILS

  • 16 hours per week.
  • Provide medical services to inmates in correctional institutions.
  • Supervise and implement treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate with institutional staff and external medical providers.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement and Infection Control Programs.

REQUIRED:

  • WI state license; active, unrestricted.
  • Board Certified.
  • DEA, BLS.
  • Covid Vaccination - required.
  • Signed reference form.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Physician Supervisor, the Institution Physician is responsible for professional medical services to inmates in accordance with standards of practice in Corrections and Community standards, and the Bureau of Health Services Policies, Procedures and Standards.
