About the role

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, a CDL Class A driver will perform duties associated with transporting non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client's sites. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including roll offs, tractor trailers, vacuum trucks, tankers and end dumps. This is a full time position with daily shifts Monday through Friday. Prefer availability to work at least one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
  • Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
  • Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and coolant levels.

Shift :
  • Monday - Friday 6:30am - 4:00pm. One weekend a month.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred; Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
  • Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
  • Minimum 1 years of commercial driving experience.
  • CDL Class A (Tanker endorsement preferred.)
  • HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.
