Job Summary

Sentara Medical Group has an employment position available for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara General Surgery Specialists in Hampton, VA. This opportunity will allow the APP a versatile schedule of both inpatient and outpatient duties with our general surgery population.

Position Highlights Include:
*Schedule: 7:30 - 4:00p
*Average patient panel 14-16 patients a day
*Inpatient duties: rounding, consults, and discharges only (no OR responsibilities)
*Outpatient duties: providing pre/post-op care
*$3,000 CME
*$5,000 Annual Quality Bonus

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required), MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required) Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - North Carolina Medical Board (NC), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Other/National, Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
