About Us:
Kinder Mind is a leading mental health care provider committed to delivering high-quality therapy services to individuals of all ages. We are currently seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in Massachusetts. This role involves providing direct client care for a minimum of 10-15 hours per week and supervising provisionally licensed social workers in accordance with state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients using evidence-based practices.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and client-centered care.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, treatment modalities, and relevant therapeutic interventions.
- Supervision:
- Provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed social workers, ensuring adherence to state licensing requirements and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular supervision meetings to discuss cases, review progress, and provide guidance.
- Support the professional development and growth of supervisees by offering constructive feedback and resources.
- Maintain documentation of supervision hours and progress for each supervisee.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state licensing laws, regulations, and professional codes of ethics.
- Stay informed about changes in licensing requirements and adjust supervision practices accordingly.
- Assist supervisees in completing required documentation for licensure.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health and social work.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW or DSW) from an accredited institution.
- Active LICSW license in Massachusetts.
- Experience providing therapy services to clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior experience in clinical supervision is a plus.
