Job Summary:
GQR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Oncology team in Boston, MA. As a full-time LCSW, you will work weekdays with occasional weekends, with no on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality social work services to oncology patients, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
- Manage patient cases and provide brief treatment plans to address their unique needs.
- Support patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing resources as needed.
- Conduct telehealth consultations to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of post-MSW experience in medical social work and case management.
- Proficiency in brief treatment methods and a strong understanding of oncology care.
- Experience working in a hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Cultural responsiveness and crisis intervention skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospital setting experience, with a focus on oncology care.
- Knowledge of housing issues, substance use disorders, grief, and bereavement.
Certifications:
- Massachusetts LCSW licensure.
- BLS certification.
This is an on-site role with some remote patient interaction through our Hospital-at-Home program.
