Responsibilities- Deliver compassionate and high-quality nursing care to geriatric patients
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient information and maintain organized medical records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to elderly patients
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Follow infection control protocols and other safety guidelines
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in geriatric nursing
- Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly patients
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Pay Rate: $1,500 - $1,575 weekly depending on experience
