Our client is a well-established insurance agency looking to add an Insurance Sales Producer - Outside Sales to their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $55k - $60k Position Overview: This is an Insurance Sales Producer - Outside Sales position working with commercial insurance. The Insurance Sales Producer - Outside Sales is a dynamic professional who utilizes their expertise in business, risk management, and insurance to establish, grow, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. This individual cultivates opportunities for business development, presents insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of clients, and champions continued superior client service. Responsibilities of the Insurance Sales Producer - Outside Sales:
  • Develop and deploy strategic plans to generate and grow a portfolio of commercial clients.
  • Evaluate client needs and existing coverage, identifying potential gaps and proposing optimal insurance solutions.
  • The Insurance Sales Producer will establish ongoing business relationships with both potential and existing clients, using excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, including underwriters and service teams, ensuring smooth implementation of coverage.
  • Utilize professional knowledge to understand complex business operations and risk exposures to provide appropriate insurance recommendations.
  • Consistently stay updated on new product offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals set by management through prospecting, following up on referrals, online marketing, and use of an extensive network of contacts.
  • The Insurance Sales Producer will explain insurance policies and help clients understand their coverage.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities and client communication.
  • Handle policy renewals and liaise between insurance providers and clients as needed.
  • Attend networking events to foster connections and promote the company's services.
  • Continually work toward the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
  • The Insurance Sales Producer will participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.
  • Handle client questions and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Comply with all industry regulations and adhere to company codes of conduct and confidentiality.
Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Producer - Outside Sales:
  • Strong interest in insurance sales.
  • Licensure is NOT required. Will send unlicensed candidates to producer school to obtain licensure.
  • Some sales experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Comfortable in an outside sales position.

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
