The schedule is Monday – Friday.

Clinic Hours: 7:00a – 7:00p

 Essential Functions:   

• Greets and assists patients in a timely and friendly manner.
• Answers phone calls and directs appropriately.
• Answers patient questions regarding their benefits.
• Safely operates optical machinery.
• Assists patient with materials purchases
• Orders and dispenses spectacles according to Vision Center policies and procedures.
• Repairs spectacles as brought in by patients
• Checks out patients and documents material sales and/or payment collection from patient on encounter forms.
• Obtains and documents vision insurance benefit authorizations for exams and materials.
• Enters information into computer in a timely manner.
• Reconcile End of Day reports.
• May require other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• ABO Certification

Experience:

• Two to three years optometric dispensary experience with a multi-line telephone system preferred'
