Description

We have immediate openings for a full-time Behavior Technicians who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference for our clients.

Behavioral Health Tech fulltime open Shifts:

  • 7am to 7pm (day shift 12hr rotating schedule)
  • 7pm to 7am (overnight shift 12hr rotating schedule)
  • PRN (as needed)
Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
  • Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
  • Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
  • Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
  • Daily chart documentation
  • Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

The Wood Group has been providing behavioral health services to the Mental Health Community of Texas since 1980. Our behavioral health services have been designed to meet the needs of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. We have worked hard to develop partnerships with local Community Centers and other agencies to provide quality services.

The Wood Group staff is trained to provide caring and compassionate services to the clients involved in our programs. We work as a team with the Community Centers or other agencies to provide services to clients they can return to productive daily living in their community. Requirements
  • High School Diploma/or Equivalent required.
  • A valid Texas Drivers License.
  • Certifications are not required for this position.
  • CNA experience preferred.


Salary Description

$13.00 per hour
