Description

SUMMARY:

The CSR 3 must be proficient in all duties of the CSR 1 and 2. In addition, the CSR 3 is responsible for assuring repairs and functionality of all gaming machine devices, POS and Cash dispensing equipment and communicating such to the CSR Supervisor and TLS department. The CSR 3 is responsible for tracking and maintaining functional levels, and the ordering of all TLS inventory of gaming parts and components. The CSR 3 will be the main point of contact with gaming vendor technicians in preparation for and during all game conversations, machine moves and installs. The CSR 3 will oversee and assist with the technical training of all CSRs and report performance benchmarks to the CSR Supervisor.

DEPARTMENTAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CSR 1 DUTIES:
  1. Deliver outstanding guest service as a priority.
  2. Perform accurate transaction réconciliation and documentation.
  3. Appropriate usage of approved forms and software to account for currency transactions.
  4. Redemption of gaming machine tickets.
  5. Establish and monitor guest check cashing limits.
  6. Accurately conduct third party transactions for cash advances and debit transactions.
  7. Exchange checks and/or cash equivalent for currency.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of casino and player information.
  9. Circulates throughout assigned area, maintaining visibility, and providing service for guests within that area.
  10. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety within the gaming area.
  11. Resolve and/or direct guest disputes to the appropriate party.
  12. Responsible for issuing handpays of applicable slot jackpots and malfunctions and completing required paperwork.
  13. Responsible to verify the Vault when required.
  14. Create new Player Club accounts within the player tracking system, issue Player Club cards, explain features of the card, and answer any questions regarding the program.
  15. Understand and explain monthly promotions and benefits of all marketing programs to guest and team members.
  16. Accurately complete and submit all required federal, state, and tribal forms when awarding prizes.
  17. As directed, assign club members appropriate prizes and awards within the Casino Management system.
  18. Assist with execution of special events and promotions, including dispensing prizes and organizing players.
  19. Meet attendance guidelines by reporting to work as scheduled with dependability and consistency.
  20. Promote and encourage positive guest relations.
  21. Represent the company in a positive manner.
  22. Maintain professional dress standards and personal appearance as dictated by the policy manual.
  23. Other duties as assigned
CSR 2 DUTIES:
  1. Responsible for maintenance of the Tribal Lottery System (TLS) and its components including gaming machines, point of sale terminals, kiosks, and other slots operations or cashiering applications.
  2. Perform the installation, configuration, and maintains inventory of all gaming software.
  3. Perform slot machine installations and gaming machine moves.
  4. Ensures accuracy of game settings and configurations.
  5. Regularly monitor slot inventory and inform the CSR 3 or CSR Supervisor of critical updates to include restocking and organization of parts and TLS components as received.
  6. Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and tests all electronic TLS related equipment, as necessary.
  7. Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment maintained by the TLS Department.
  8. Promote positive vendor relations including gaming vendors.
CSR 3 ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  1. Maintain ongoing communication with CSRs, CSR Supervisor and MODs regarding the functionality, repairs, vendor ticket submissions, and resolution of all gaming machine devices, POS and Cash dispensing equipment.
  2. Track, and maintain functional levels, and assures the timely ordering, and receiving of all TLS gaming parts and components.
  3. Assure all parts and components needed for game conversations, gaming machine moves, and installs are on property, organized and prepared prior to the date of install.
  4. Act as the main point of contact with gaming technician vendors in preparation for and during game theme conversations, machine moves and installs.
  5. Oversee and assist with the technical training of all CSRs.
  6. Track and reports training benchmarks of CSRs to the CSR Supervisor or MOD.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associates of Arts and Science Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school desired. A minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training/certificate; or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Read, write, speak, and understand English. Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guest, clients, and other Team Members of the organization. Organizational, interpersonal relation skills and a team-oriented attitude are required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Must have working knowledge of computers and be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.

REASONING ABILITY:

Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Class III gaming license issued from the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Commission, and a valid Washington State Drivers License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  8. Flexible hours (weekends, nights, holidays) and open availability.
