As a Direct Response ad agency that specializes in home improvement, we track the response rate for every single ad that we run; every DRTV, TV, radio, digital, and newspaper ad needs to generate a certain number of leads for the ad to be cost-effective. It's the cost-effective, qualified, converting leads that are always at the core of our goals

Our Creative Team's mission to make sure we combine creativity with analytics to deliver compelling, ROI-driven advertising solutions. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Art Director with a proven track record in print and digital marketing assets (including YouTube,) with a heavy focus on DRTV and TV production. This candidate will report to the Associate Creative Director and will be responsible for overseeing the visual aspects of producing effective DRTV campaigns that resonate with our core client's target audience and achieve client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with in-house Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, copywriters to brainstorm and develop campaign concepts that integrate compelling visuals with persuasive messaging.
  • Lead the execution of TV segment and DRTV campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring high visual standards and alignment with client goals.
  • Work autonomously with outside agencies, producers, and account managers to direct and guide the execution of visual elements, including storyboard development, set design, casting, and post-production editing, to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovative techniques in DRTV advertising, leveraging insights to continually enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior creative team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative concepts and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) as an Art Director in an agency or in-house creative setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful print, digital and DRTV campaigns.
  • Expertise in all aspects of DRTV production, including script development, storyboarding, casting, location scouting, and post-production.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and a solid understanding of digital platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team toward innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience managing production budgets.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field (or equivalent work experience).
