Job Summary

The Phoenix Senior Living team is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our community operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety procedures, investigate and monitor work-related injuries, and maintain compliance with all laws and regulations regarding the operation of an assisted living facility.
  • Financial Management: Review and interpret monthly financial reports, provide explanations of budget variances to management, and counsel individual managers on department budget variances as needed.
  • Organization and Prioritization: Demonstrate effective time management and organization skills, effectively communicate priorities, and multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement a rent-up and occupancy strategy, generate leads and close sales, and represent the community in public settings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, Gerontology, or other relevant field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of prior General Manager/Administrator experience or 5-10 years of Senior Living, Hospitality, or Skilled Nursing experience with 5 years at the management level.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and valid license to operate an assisted living facility (if mandated by the State).
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: 4-6 hours per day.
  • Sitting: 4-6 hours per day.
  • Driving: 30-60 minutes, 2 times a week.
  • Lifting and Carrying: 40-70 pounds, occasionally.
