Security Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing within Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk assessment and potential impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities promptly
  • Develop and implement strategies for proactive vulnerability detection and mitigation
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts related to Azure cloud services
  • Maintain documentation related to vulnerability assessments, findings, and remediation activities
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities specific to Azure cloud services
  • Provide recommendations for security improvements and best practices in Azure cloud environments
  • Assist in developing and enhancing security policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to Azure cloud security

Security Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, specifically within Azure cloud environments
  • Proficiency in using vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with Azure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar, preferred
