FALL 2024 High School Engineering Internship

We're glad you're exploring our Fall 2024 High School Engineering Internship position and want to share some of the details.
You'll have the opportunity to work with our engineering teams to on a variety of engineering tasks and skills. We are looking for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in a career in the high demand field of engineering. We are looking for students will mechanical aptitude, a passion for hands-on work, the ability to think critically to problem solve and be comfortable working with a variety of people.
As a high school engineering intern, you will be responsible for shadowing a variety of engineering personnel to learn basic project management, engineering knowledge, various information systems and career readiness skills. This is a fall/spring internship, and the student should expect to work 10 hour-24s per week during the school months.
Requirements
In addition to being interested in a career in engineering, the ideal candidate will have completed some engineering and/or STEM courses in high school. You will do well if you are comfortable working with a variety of machinery and have the analytical ability for troubleshooting and providing creative solutions. Strong communication skills are necessary. We are looking for self-motivated self-starters who can take instructions and execute work with minimal supervision.
