Description: I got word on Friday we will be looking to recruit 20 Help Desk resources for Broward Health They hope to onboard these 20 people starting around early September but know with that volume we will be starting people staggered throughout early & mid September…..the sooner the better though. The req is getting put in through TGS and the BDM (Brian Kemper) but we have to finish our “solutioning call” tomorrow before putting in all details. For now I put this req in DRAFT so there is a point of reference for the delivery team. Details: - 20 Help Desk Technicians ONSITE performing Tier 1 level support, solving & closing tickets as well as escalating to Tier 2 & 3 when needed. They will sit in the IT Command Center on Broward Health’s main campus. - WHY does Broward need 20 HD resources? o This is to support the Epic EMR Go-Live that is scheduled to start on November 2nd and last 2-3 weeks (24-7). These resources will go through training through September and October leading up to Go Live. This is paid training, they will likely start supporting calls though in late October. - Submittals: same as the PC Techs, sub to Jane and cc me on interview invites. We need to start submitting resumes to Jennifer Ballantine asap though, Jane is on PTO and not back in office till NEXT Thursday. Jennifer is filling in for Jane while she is out. I recommend either myself or Taina on those interviews with Jennifer if possible to just get some extra eyes on these folks. WE have to mitigate having backouts and/or people getting fired, this is a short duration but timelines are critical in an Epic Go Live so we cant afford to send mediocre candidates. - Interviews: they will be conducted by our Engagement Manager – Jane Woods and Jennifer Ballantine - Duration: September 9th – December 31st - Bill Rate: is $47.00 per hour - Targeted DL: $18 - $21 per hour - Shifts: they are a 24/7 shop (it’s a hospital) and we will need people who are willing to do night shifts and/or weekend shifts as well. o Need to ask and vet when doing G2’s on shift preference (1st and 2nd choice as well as digging into their willingness to do late shifts so we don’t run into backouts) o Likely need to have about 5-7 people willing to do weekend work o Need at least 7-10 people willing to do night shift o 10-15 viable candidates for day shift Skills: Windows 10, Hardware, Deployment, Imaging, Install, Windows 7, Customer service, epic, Help desk support, Help desk, Go live, Troubleshooting, Active directory, Ticketing system, Office 365, Servicenow, Phone support, Password reset Top Skills Details: Windows 10,Hardware,Deployment,Imaging,Install,Windows 7,Customer service,epic Additional Skills & Qualifications: Previous healthcare experience is a plus 2.Previous Windows 7-10 deployment is a plus 3.
