Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Community Outreach and more. Program Overview:

  • Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

Project Role: Enterprise Data Warehouse

The IT BI Data Analytics and Reporting Intern is responsible for analyzing, implementing and supporting the Snowflake and Power BI solution as well as the analysis and pilot of AI solutions for Kontoor Brands reporting solutions. The individual will be working closely with current EDW team members, business owners, SAP and non-SAP Functional Analysts to understand the functional requirements that drive the solutioning. The primary focus will be to support the Power BI and Enterprise Data Warehouse Reporting leadership in these activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exploration of corporate AI technologies and development of AI Solutions and processes. Definition and configuration of key processes that drive Artificial Intelligence (AI), Power BI & EDW solutions.
  • For the EDW Implementation on-going projects and enhancements:
    • Accountable for development, configuration and integration of the Enterprise Data Warehouse Solutions
      • Snowflake Data Warehouse
      • Matillion ETL and Transformation Toolset
      • Fivetran/HVR data replication Toolset
  • Execute workplan activities to implement EDW activities in line with EDW and Power BI solution changes
  • Definition and documentation of processes, WRICEF, Functional Specifications, test plans/scripts, deployment plans and legacy appl. changes
  • Participate in key process workshops & issue resolution sessions
  • Contribute to the future EDW solution design, testing, deployment and change management
  • Provide updates to reviews of program deliverables and status
  • Partner with IT and BI leads and Business Leads to ensure design meets requirements and gaps and/or issues are identified / resolved
  • Manage own work and support other team members to achieve budget and schedule
    • Support issue and weekly progress reporting
    • Support identification and control of areas of risk, to drive resolution of issues
