Description

About the Position:

First Internet Bank provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their Finance/Accounting/Business related degree. The purpose of the First Internet Bank internship program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and present interns with real-world insight into the financial services industry. This internship is a paid opportunity.

What You Will Do:
  • Assist with preparation of month-end financial reports
  • Financial statement variance analysis
  • Participate in meetings with various lines of business to review forecast to actual results
  • Support FP&A during the preparation of the Company-wide rolling forecast
  • Utilize FP&A software to come up with ways to streamline processes and create efficiencies in data flow and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
  • Current Sophomore or Junior with demonstrated interest in finance and/or accounting
  • Excellent organization and data management
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Superb communication skills
  • Desire to work in the finance or accounting field
  • Able to commit 40 hours a week during the summer internship period
Working Conditions/Demands:
  • Professional office setting.
  • Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
