The mission of Faith Regional Health Services is to serve Christ by providing all people with exemplary medical services in an environment of love and care.

Summary:

Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of an organization's computer systems, mobile device management, networks (LAN/WAN), and servers.Collaborate with or escalates issues to vendors and subject matter experts as needed. Monitors systems to ensure configurations, performance, resources, and security of the systems meet user needs. Maintains and supports computer hardware and software, and diagnoses issues when necessary. Ensures security measures are effective, including backup and disaster recovery. Trains and/or mentors junior staff.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a highly complex system infrastructures, as well as implementing, testing, and supporting hardware and software systems. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. Makes recommendations for more efficient use.

2. Designs, builds, and implements the security posture for a variety of information systems and modules including protecting the software from outside intrusion, ensuring the infrastructure is sound, and developing and managing appropriate user access accounts. Monitors the system for hacking incidents that may lead to altering or destruction of data or clinical systems and ensures use of systems only by authorized users. Provides direction and guidance to local and remote users and team members. May manage, monitor, and audit security master files.

3. Responsible for construction, technical support, and maintenance of existing or planned information system integration with a focus on efficiency, standards, and cost-effectiveness. Analyzes client systems and infrastructure to ensure compatibility and adherence to system connectivity and interface specifications.

4.Analyst II- Responsible for the local area network (LAN), including performance, maintenance, security, and upgrade. Monitors Network traffic on backbone and suggest ways to optimize the data transfer between workstations and servers. Experience troubleshooting network protocols: IP, TCP, Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, ARP. Experience troubleshooting applications interaction at the network layer (e.g. HTTP, SSL, TCP, etc.). Evaluates hardware changes that will provide enhanced or additional functionality to the Networks. May work with vendors and oversee installation of new hardware or software. Follows applicable policies, procedures, and standards.

Analyst III-1. Responsible for the local area network (LAN), including performance, maintenance, security, upgrade, and acquisition. May negotiate with vendors and oversee installation of new hardware or software. Develops and maintains policies, procedures, standards, and training for users.

5. Responsible for storage management practices including development of storage allocation, backup/archival procedure, and monitoring storage use and resources. Detects, documents, and quickly resolves system outages or problems during system operation, including collecting/interpreting diagnostic data and developing solutions for recovery of the system.

6. Responsible for the overall design, implementation, operation, and support of the organization's enterprise-wide desktop services across various locations. Desktop level duties include management and coordination of equipment refreshes, level III Break/Fix issue resolution and problem response/management for the following technologies: Desktops, Zero-Clients, laptops, Tablets, Printers, Smartphones and all newly introduced workstation dependent technologies. Engineering duties include maintenance and advancement of desktop management services, including remote control utilities, software distribution, asset management, virus protection services, and maintenance of a standards-based desktop hardware architecture and application portfolio. May also address user tickets and assist users with installing applications.

7. Responsible for installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment such as microphones, video screens, projectors, recording equipment, etc. throughout the organization. Maintains, cleans, stores, and inventories equipment. May require travel to different locations to assist with initial equipment set up and/or for meetings, presentations, events, etc.

8. Navigates technical issues such as installation support, troubleshooting assistance, coordinating with vendors, and resolving any stakeholder issues with the organization's telehealth devices.

9. Analyst III- Assumes project management responsibilities for small to medium IT Infrastructure projects utilizing project management policies, procedures and tools.

EDUCATION:

Analyst II- Associate Degree preferred.

Analyst III-Associate Degree required, Bachelors degree preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence required.
Operate FRHS owned vehicles required.

Analyst III- IT Certification in one or more role specific systems

Previous Experience Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

Analyst II-Previous experience with supporting and managing IT infrastructure required.
Combination of four years of education and experience in position field required.

Analyst III-Five to seven years or experience with supporting and managing IT infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead small to medium IT infrastructure projects. Combination of six years of education and experience in position field.

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

SKILLS:

Language Skills - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

KNOWLEDGE:

Microsoft: MS O365; MS InTune; Active Directory; MS Server; MS SQL; SQL Server, MS Teams, SharePoint preferred.
Backup Systems and Network/Cloud Storage preferred.
LAN/WAN, Wireless Network, and VPN Management Tools preferred.

Network topology, Ethernet, Wireless Networking and T1/PRI circuits preferred.
Antivirus Administration preferred.

VMWare Virtual Desktops and Server preferred.

Other Certifications/Requirements:

Your own personal smart phone required (Faith Regional mobile apps may be necessary to perform the functions of this position.)
