Job Description

We seek an experienced and dynamic Infrastructure Team Leader with a strong focus on cloud technology to join our innovative IT department. In this role, you will work with and guide a team of skilled professionals in designing, implementing, and managing our on-prem infrastructure and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation. Your responsibilities will include furthering cloud adoption while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that align with our strategic goals. What you will do:
  • Design, implement and maintain the organization's server and networking infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure high levels of performance and availability across all systems.
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Identify business-appropriate cloud opportunities and develop strategies for integrating them into the existing environment.
  • Manage the integration of cloud-based solutions with on-premises infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Maintain security and integrity of the system, including data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to develop and implement technology strategies to modernize the IT infrastructure.
  • Manage software and hardware updates, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and applications.
  • Maintain documentation of network topology and system configuration.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience working at the Senior level in Enterprise Infrastructure preferred
  • 1-3 years experience working at the Senior level in Enterprise Infrastructure required
  • Experience working with an automated service desk system and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)/key performance indicators required
  • Strong knowledge of classic networking design, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
