Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Warehouse Systems- GA has an opening for Team Lead- Powder Line. Safety is the most important part of all jobs at Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

The responsibilities of the Paint Line Lead position include but are not limited to being a positive part of the leadership team on the line, being an active participant with developing teammates within our culture, as well as overseeing and training teammates on the line. This position is also responsible for communicating information to other departments and teammates as it relates to production. The Powder Line Lead is responsible for establishing and setting the pace and maintaining efficiency and quality on the line. Additional responsibilities will include filling in for other positions on the line, and for the Supervisor, as necessary.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Must have the ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to read tape measure.
  • Ability to read and understand calibrations.
  • Must possess the ability to work with hand tools.
