Your Role:

Atlas Copco is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Service Team to support our customers within Southeast Michigan. You will travel daily to support our clients onsite at their manufacturing facilities to resolve technical issues with their production tooling. You will report to the Regional Service Team Leader in this role. You are the subject matter expert for Atlas Copco assembly tools and products. You will communicate with our client's Manufacturing Personnel to discuss known issues and provide solutions to reduce downtime on their production lines. You will report all known issues on our tooling within our internal systems to track the activity of each project and place orders for parts to complete a repair.

You will also offer great added benefits for Field Service Engineers/Technicians:
  • Starting pay is $28.50 per hour, plus Overtime and Double-time pay
  • Monthly car allowance for car payments
  • Gas can be expensed for work-related travel
  • Overtime Pay is based on the Hours Worked In a Day
To Succeed, You Will Need:
  • To reside in Metro Detroit Michigan
  • To travel locally 60% each month and nationally 40% per month to visit customer sites #LI-Hybrid
  • A valid Driver's License
  • 2 years of experience calibrating Industrial Tooling/Assembly Machinery
  • 2 years experience troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs
  • 1 to 2 years of experience solving and repairing mechanical issues in a production environment
  • 1 to 2 years of IT experience with Computer Networking/Database Troubleshooting
  • To lift and carry up to 40 pounds
