MRI Technologist - Raleigh, NC (Sign-on bonus- 20,000)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Major Facets:
- Positions patients on examining table and places appropriate coils to cover area(s) of interest while following protocols set forth by Radiologist.
- Communicates to the patient throughout the procedure to ensure diagnostic quality and patient comfort.
- Communicates with patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and to request important patient information (removal of metal objects, fear of closed spaces) which could limit or hinder the procedure.
Experience:
- Associate or two-year degree in Radiography
- Phlebotomy and Venipuncture Competence
- Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (preferred)
- Current ARRT registration (required) and Current MRI Registration (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
