Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the facility's manufacturing equipment through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work order system. This role will install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in our manufacturing plant, and it requires on-site presence and regular attendance to perform essential duties effectively. While the role focuses on manufacturing equipment, the role resides within the maintenance group and will routinely include non-equipment-related maintenance activities, including assisting with the upkeep of the buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous plant operations.
- Develop and modify Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to optimize plant operations.
- Promptly responds to equipment failures, troubleshoots, repairs, and proves readiness in order to return equipment to
- Scopes repair work orders for time and materials needed to complete the
- Completes all necessary paperwork for the department; maintains accurate records in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Works closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to ensure cohesive and efficient plant operations.
- Assists maintenance technicians in completing the weekly generated equipment preventative maintenance work
- Maintains a continuing effort to gain knowledge in the trades necessary to execute prompt and reliable service to increase the efficiency of the maintenance
- Complies with safety and quality policies and procedures and is unafraid to speak up when they become aware of non-conformances.
- Read and interpret, read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and make layouts as required.

Work Environment / Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Due to the nature of the work, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is sometimes at risk of electrical shock while troubleshooting a piece of equipment. Once the problem has been diagnosed all energy sources to the machine are to be locked out and tagged out according to OSHA and company policies before repairs are attempted. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions/hot or cold, occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. There could be areas where the employee could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee frequently works with or around explosives. This involves handling packaged/boxed explosives as well as instructing customers in the proper use, storage, and transportation of these explosives. While rare, any accident could be catastrophic and potentially result in injury or death to many employees. The employee frequently works with powders, sometimes in a dusty environment and occasionally around fumes. Workers must not be overly sensitive (allergies, rashes, etc.) to working in these conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. These vision requirements relate to obtaining a valid driver's license and recognizing current Hazmat warning labels or markings that are color-coded.

- Strong knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley PLC Programming software
- Knowledge and experience with Siemens PLC Programming software preferred but not required.

- Must meet Hunting Titan/OSHA fork truck driver license
- Work Authorization / Security Clearance:
- Able to meet ATF & regulatory security
- Must be US citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the United States (student Visa does not qualify), in accordance with ATF
