Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a key member of our team at AYR Wellness, responsible for performing routine repair and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure our production buildings, facilities equipment, and retail locations operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance programs and tasks for all equipment
  • Responsible for minor repairs of buildings, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • Assist in coordinating and directing subcontractor services for completion of extensive or complex projects
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, GMP, FDA, State, Local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Respond to emergency calls, make immediate repairs when necessary, and assist subcontractors if further repairs are needed
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Report all facility safety and security issues to management
  • Perform general cleaning of facility, equipment, and tools
  • Assist in fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for everything cannabis
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to pass all background checks
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1-3 years in the maintenance field
