Job Summary

We are looking for an entry level IT Systems Support Specialist who is passionate about supporting systems, helping others, and wanting to grow If you are looking for a position where you take ownership, wear multiple hats, and provide support to several different end users… we have the position for you

Our ideal candidate is eager to learn about supporting various computer systems in a fast-paced environment, works well in teams, and can interact effectively with end users. Basic computer troubleshooting skills and strong organizational skills are preferred. Candidates will be exposed to a variety of exciting enterprise technologies and will be able to learn most tasks on the job. As our IT Systems Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Information Technology team responsible for keeping systems up and running in our facility.

Job duties:
  • Installs, configures, and maintains enterprise server/network technologies, firewalls, desktops, laptops, and associated applications.
  • Secures and ensures end user accounts and associated security, monitor backups, and regularly test file restorations to ensure data protection.
  • Provides first-level technical support to end users, responding directly to requests and inquiries.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels of equipment and materials.
  • Participates in remote support, including support for remote offices, as required.
  • Deploys and troubleshoots end user workstation and peripheral technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Competent in building and maintaining PCs, Windows 10/11 operating systems, hardware and software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to grow and learn enterprise technologies.
Qualified candidates must have experience with the following:
  • Possessing 3-5 years of Windows and Mac desktop and end user support experience in a Helpdesk role.
  • Proficient in adding/maintaining user accounts in Active Directory.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise backup solutions, VoIP phone systems, printers, or digital security systems is advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to manufacturing or a 24/7 environment is beneficial.
  • While a college degree is preferred, it's not a mandatory requirement.
  • Be prepared to discuss your experience in detail.
