A successful wealth management firm located in Memphis, TN, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Preparation Administrator to join their growing team This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to support a tight-knit wealth management firm by handling tax preparation and administrative tasks for their CPA partners. The ideal candidate will excel at managing client documents, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth tax processes for high-net-worth clients. Tax Preparation Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organize financial documents to support CPA firm processes, ensuring all information is accurate and complete
  • Manage administrative tasks related to client tax services, including document tracking, data collection, and communication with clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the firm and its CPA partners, facilitating seamless communication and timely delivery of materials
  • Proactively follow up with clients to gather necessary tax-related information and ensure all required forms are completed on schedule
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in managing records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Assist in the development and refinement of this new position, contributing ideas and adapting to changes as the role evolves
  • Collaborate closely with the president and team to improve processes and ensure high-quality service delivery for clients
  • Actively participate in the firm's professional and social culture, fostering teamwork and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Handle sensitive client information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality at all times
Tax Preparation Administrator Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience at a CPA firm or wealth management firm with similar services
  • BA degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to take direct coaching and adapt to evolving responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills and adherence to professionalism
