Human Resources Specialist

Location: Albany, NY Category: Human Resources Posted On: Fri Sep 20 2024 Job Description: HR Specialist will provide administrative support to the assigned locations by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, timekeeper, and other day-to-day HR responsibilities. Job Duties: Responsible for the coordination of recruitment for open positions. Entering searches into the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and external posting sites. Enter New Hire Information into ATS for onboarding, and completing follow up, as needed. Complete I9 Verification/Reverification, and monitoring work authorization. Run and review benefit monitoring reports. Processing benefits changes, including premium deductions. Review Bi-weekly payroll activity reports Coordinating, and following up on payroll form entry. Complete time report monitoring, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Troubleshooting time and attendance issues, as needed. Assist with New Hire Orientation. Facilitate offboarding process, including providing separation letters and COBRA information. Maintaining personnel files. Assist with special projects. Job Requirements: Required Education/Qualifications: Associate's degree in a related field & 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have strong organizational, communication, and people skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint). Preferred experience working with ATS/HRIS systems. Compensation for this position: The compensation for this role is between $55,000 to $60,000. The pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certifications.
