Description

EMIT Technologies is seeking a powder coater for our manufacturing facility in Sheridan, WY. Powder Coaters play an integral role in the manufacturing process and are responsible for loading and unloading the booths, examining products for flaws, preparing products for coatings application as well as maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record product MO numbers.
  • Prepare parts and products for coating.
  • Inspect coated parts for defects such as runs, sags, or uneven coverage.
  • Measure coating thickness to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform touch-ups and rework as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Safely operate and handle equipment to apply power coat onto various parts and products.
  • Application of powder coat, while following all principals and practice of powder coating application.
  • Load / Unload booth, cleaning of application equipment, cleaning of booth.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in powder coating is a plus.
  • Previous experience in powder coating or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with powder coating equipment and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and use PPE.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, and work for extended periods.
